Rewards

Participating in the unique experience of photographing with the 20×24 Polaroid camera, I knew that only the most interesting subject would suffice. In searching my childhood home, I found my old McDonald’s Happy Meal Toys, and a lot of them. There were bucketfuls. It made me cringe to think that I ate so many Happy Meals. There were doubles of some toys, showing that I had eaten there more than once a week. I wanted to present the idea of the gluttony and excess of childhood; the rewards gained from eating. Separated between boys and girls, the army of rewards marches on intimidating, joyful, and greasy.
